Ok I’d have to set the tone and stage with Fink, ‘Yesterday was hard on all of us’ it feels so poignant right now. We’re not out of the woods yet with Covid but it does feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel so starting off with this record, soft blue spotlight on Fink, played and sung acoustically would absolutely soften everyone into a positive relaxed atmosphere.
Then Prince & NPG would light up the room with ‘I Wanna Be Your Lover’, ’Raspberry Beret’, ‘Thieves in the temple’, ’Nothing Compares to you’ with Rosie Gains and ‘Diamonds and pearls’. Full-on huge party soulful atmosphere. The lights would all be purple and his guitar would scream throughout the room setting us all on funk-soul fire finishing with Purple Rain and a 5-minute guitar solo in true Prince style.
Then Sam Cooke would take to the stage and play a few intimate songs, ‘Cupid’, ’Sixteen’, ‘Good News’ just with a gorgeous vintage upright piano, and then I’d come on to duet with him for ‘A wonderful world’ and try not to cry ha! Sam Cooke has one of the most incredible voices of all time.
I’ll then throw in a curveball and have Skunk Anansie play ‘Charlie Big Potato’, ‘Heodmism’, ’Secretly’, and ‘yes it’s fucking political’ to rock everyone out of their seats and stick two fingers up to the patriarchy cleansing us all.
Gotye would then enter stage right to soothe and perform a duet with Seinabo Sey, two completely random artists to each other who’d light up the stage with their individuality but absolute depth in their creativity and songs with a warm acoustic guitar tone kinda vibe and a small string quartet, ’ Save Me’ from Gotye and ‘ Breathe’ from Seinabo Hey being my all-time favourites! The lights awash with browns, yellows, soft peach, and warm golden tones to set the atmosphere.
Then finally to finish off this huge tour, Whitney would come on with her full band and perform ‘How Will I Know’, ‘Queen of the night’, ‘Run to you’, ‘I Have Nothing’ and ‘I will always love you’ to an absolute standing ovation. Lights, Pyros, the works… Then for an encore, on the settled silver soft confetti I’d ask her if she would duet my latest single ‘Be Alright’ with me and in that moment life would be complete….. what a dream this would be!

Keep up with her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
