Fireworks Replaces Defeater On The Wonder Year’s Spring Tour

The pop-punk band, Fireworks, has been added to The Wonder Year’s spring North American headline tour. They will replace Defeater, who had to drop off due to medical reasons. Real Friends, Citizen and Modern Baseball will also be on the tour. You can check out the updated dates, details and tour poster, after the break.

Statement from The Wonder Years: “We’re bummed to announce that Defeater will unfortunately have to drop off our Spring Tour due to medical issues. A statement from the band’s vocalist can be found below. We wish him the best of luck & a speedy recovery! Our friends in Fireworks will be taking their spot for the whole tour in support of a brand new record entitled “Oh, Common Life” which hits stores March 25th.”

Statement from Defeater: “I have been dealing with my hip condition since an accident months ago, but this has just recently in the last few months become much more of a serious problem. The doctors and surgeons I have seen strongly recommended that I get this taken care of as soon as possible before my hip breaks in it’s brittle state and causes further damage. -Derek (Defeater Vocalist)
