Honeymoon Disease – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

We played at Stoned From The Underground this summer, our first gig outside of Sweden, so our expectations were high! The show was a blast and the crowd was the best we’ve had so far! Just awesome! After the show we went to our merch booth. As soon as we got there, everyone in the tent was shouting; “THAT’S HONEYMOON DISEASE! WOW!”. We were of course overwhelmed and started to chat to the fans. Just minutes later, three older men had noticed the “rock and roll over” – tattoo on Jenna’s arm and wanted to take a picture together with her and her arm. Meanwhile, Jimi (actually wearing the rock and roll over shirt) was trying to get in the picture but was pushed aside. Guess they didn’t even notice his shirt or that he played in the band.

At the same festival, during Electric Wizards show, the crowd were getting more and more drunk, included our Jimi. All beach balls had been thrown away on Electric Wizard’s demand “This is a fucking stoner concert, not a hippie festival!”

As the show went on, Jimi went backstage to find more people that wanted to join this great party. After a long searching, all he could find was a beach ball that had been thrown away earlier on the concert. “Nice!”. So Jimi took his new buddy to the front row and threw it out to the audience once again. It all ended with a long and tough night for Jimi, hiding and running from the security guards.
