The Seeking – 3rd ROAD BLOG from the “Talk Your [S]#?! We’ll Give You A Reason Tour”

The Seeking is currently on the “Talk Your [S]#?! We’ll Give You A Reason Tour” with Woe, Is Me, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, Our Last Night, Secrets and Capture The Crown. They will be doing an exclusive Road Blog for us while they’re on this tour. You can check out their third entry after the break.

Hey guys how’s it going? I hope you all had a good thanksgiving this year and spent some time being thankful for stuff. Ours was also good. We ended up going to a Denny’s in Idaho because Cracker Barrel was closed. Thank God for Denny’s hobbit menu, we would have been lost without it. Needless to say, it wasn’t the best thanksgiving dinner I’ve ever had but it was more than good enough just to have the privilege of eating a meal. Also a huge thank you to our tour manager Brayden’s aunt and uncle Jason and Katie, for letting us stay at their house that night. They took us in and fed us and let us take showers. I had no idea how much I took showers for granted until I started living in a van…..down by the river. After thanksgiving, we went on to play Salt Lake City, and Denver. Both great crowds and great cities. If you live in Salt Lake City, or if you visit there, I have a game for you. There’s a taco stand outside of Club Sound that has this sauce that is well, more than uncomfortably hot. We spent the entire night daring each other to eat tacos and use more of the deadly sauce. We paid for it. I guess it’s not much of a game but hey, there’s no hurt in trying it.(yes there is). Well now we are on our way up to the east coast to finish off the last two weeks of the tour. Despite van troubles, it’s been going well. I know we’re all excited to see the cities and experience these states. The weather, not so much. But, you’ll be hearing all about that next week! I’m gonna share a verse and maybe some music I’ve been listening to.

On hearing this, Jesus said,  “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. (Matthew 9:12 NIV)
This verse has been very thought provoking for me lately. Maybe it will be for you too.

If you get a chance, listen to Elliot Smith. His music is mostly acoustic and pretty soft. If you’re sad then maybe don’t…
