The Beach – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the alternative artist, The Beach, lets you know who he would like on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

My dream tour would be a stadium world tour with Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, Lianne La Havas and a young Fleetwood Mac.

Every day we would get together and write a new song that we would play to the fans in the evening and obviously, I would learn crazy new chords and tricks from these guys so that goes without saying!

We would also mix and match band members so some nights Chris Martin would play keys for me, other nights Stevie Nicks would be on the bus, I’d often step up for the guitar solo in ‘Fix You’, Bruce would step up on drums and Lianne would get on the cello. We would be basically throwing a party for 80,000 people every night, but hangovers wouldn’t exist.

There would be no need for sound checks because the sound would always perfect and nothing would ever go wrong.

During the day the sports team of the stadium that we are in have matches so we get front row seats, and then after the game, we would go on the pitch and have a kick around with the team.

I wouldn’t be sad after the tour was done because there would be a way of bottling the energy given by the crowd during the most exciting parts of the gigs that I could just inhale when I was at home on a rainy day.
