About a decade ago, we went on a road trip through the southern United States, touring exclusively with Sofar Sounds.

As both performers and volunteers with Sofar, we planned the entire tour around their unique venues.

We traveled through South Carolina, Austin, New Orleans, and Nashville, playing in fascinating and unconventional spaces.

We played at a bike store, an old abandoned recording studio, a local bar, and so many other cool places. We slept on floors, couches, and stayed at an Airbnb that had strange cabinets with rifles—LOL.

The most memorable stop was in Nashville, where we performed in a climbing gym. That night, we hadn’t arranged a place to stay, so after a few songs, we told the audience we were looking for somewhere to crash. Someone generously offered us a place, and it turned out to be one of the best tours we’ve ever had—filled with incredible people and unforgettable experiences. It perfectly captures the spirit of adventure and community that we love about making music.
