Pleiades – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the post-hardcore band, Pleiades, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

So for a dream tour, we’ve gone for a Taste of Chaos-style travelling line up of 5 of our favorite bands from our idols, to up-and-coming bands we love and have big hopes for. Each band has a connection to us whether it’s a connection to our sound or us personally.
Top of the bill is Alexisonfire who are the benchmark for us as artists and how they represent themselves in the wider music industry as just 5 dudes who are still friends after all these years. They enjoy the music they make and are still excited for their future. The new album ‘Otherness’ is an amazing example of their longevity.
Next is Touche Amore who epitomises emotional connection to music. They have the ability to touch upon the most heart-wrenching topics and create a narrative in their albums that compels you to feel. So the atmosphere at their shows is one of group catharsis and incredibly special to witness. They have no gimmicks and egos and are a very important band in Hardcore.
So now to shift to bands who we are close to and have witnessed rise into something special. Hidden Mothers are a special Post-black metal band from Sheffield, UK.
Hardworking guys who are finally getting onto the festival bills they deserve and crafting a sound that will break post-black metal boundaries into something entirely unique. They have bestowed a lot of wisdom onto us and we wish them all the success in the world.
Next is our friends in Habits from North Wales, UK. We played a show with them last year and they have this Idles meets The Bronx quality. An intelligent and visceral brand of Punk that was a pleasure to watch. They are currently writing new music and I can’t wait to see them emerge.
Finally Lure In from Manchester, UK. They are a chaotic brand of hardcore who we are watching grow on our very doorstep and they live and breathe DIY ethic by helping the hardcore community around them with their own promotion (Anti-Mind). They are forward-thinking musicians and forward-thinking human beings and a great example of this is their new single Aren’t You Happy?

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
