Peter Case – TOUR TIPS

Folk artist, Peter Case, has written a set of awesome Tour Tips for you guys to learn from. You can check them out after the break.

1. Try and talk to the  club booker or club owner a few weeks before the gig, confirm etc… see if there’s anything you need to know that would help make the gig work. In other words ‘advance’ the gig.
2. If you know people or have fans in the area, let ’em know you’re coming. They probably won’t see it in the papers, etc.
3. Remember, music is about giving, not getting.
4. The whole thing is completely impossible: it’s best to stay calm.
5. Always take a sweater.
