OUTLYA – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the alternative band, OUTLYA, let you know who they would like on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Call us crazy but our dream tour would take place on a ship. Every port we stopped off in we’d play a show and bands could swap in and out. Being stuck at sea for weeks at a time would be tough sure, but with these people in tow, it’d be a breeze.
True Adventures – we’ve known our friend Sam for as long we’ve been playing music together. We’ve done a bunch of shows with him and he’s even done some singing on a couple of our new songs. Can’t imagine any tour without asking him along for the ride.
Hypnotic Brass Ensemble – name a single song that can’t be improved by adding brass. Mark Ronson puts it on everything and it’s worked out pretty well for him. Maybe if we asked nicely they’d be nice enough to come play some horns with us some nights.
Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons – these guys would open and close every concert by playing ‘December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)’ regardless of the time of year. One perfect pop song to rule them all (and sung by their drummer no less… step aside, Frankie)
Dorothy Ashby – we listen to her most days. On the way to rehearsals, after rehearsals, sometimes even during them too. Jazz harpists are hard to come by and probably for good reason, she does it the best. If you haven’t had a chance listen to Dorothy’s Harp go and do it now. It came out in 1969 but still sounds as modern as anything, we’d be honored to share the stage with her.
Amerie, Estelle & Nelly Furtado – the world’s best supergroup that never did happen (yet?!). They’d headline every night and there’d be carnage. Three queens of R’n’B all on stage together, we can dream.

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
