Michael O – TOUR TIPS

This set of Tour Tips was written by Portland-based R&B/soul artist, Michael O. You can check out his tips for being on the road, after the break.

1. Get a Netflix subscription. It is literally one of the greatest things ever created when it comes to touring!

2. If you have time, be a tourist in the city you’re performing in. It takes your mind off of music, which can actually be a good thing sometimes.

3. Naps are so clutch! Take as many as possible.

4. Fill your ipod/ipad/computer with a random assortment of music. Music you wouldn’t normally listen to. You might find a song/genre you like, and could add a new dimension to your own music and live performance.

5. Have a blast and don’t take yourself too seriously. We are musicians. What we are doing is hilarious, but so worthwhile.
