Living Dead Lights – TOUR TIPS

This new set of Tour Tips was written by Martin Kelly of the rock/punk/metal band, Living Dead Lights. You can check out his tips for being on the road, after the break.

1. Pack half the trousers you think you’ll need and twice the socks.

2. Wet wipes, wet wipes, wet wipes. I’ll spare you the details of what’s called “the hooker’s bath” but let’s just say those little sheets of heavenly cleaning are from the gods themselves.

3. If after a show you’ve decided to, let’s say, have a couple beers with fans and your bus call time is 8:00am–don’t bother staggering back at 4:00am, you’ll just have gotten enough sleep to wake up when the bus starts moving and you’ll be hungover & miserable. Do the full marathon and get back at 8:00am, crash in your bunk and pass out, your body will be used to sleeping in the moving vehicle and you’ll wake up 8 hours later refreshed in time for the gig. Science!

4. Take an extra car charger and no less than 14 shipping containers full of 9volt & AA batteries(approx).

5. Condoms.
