Lift The Curse - DREAM TOUR
Join us as Lift The Curse reveals their dream tour lineup selections.

In this Dream Tour segment, the rock/metal band, Lift The Curse, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineups. You can check out their picks below:
Jon Yadon’s LTC Dream Tour picks:
Metallica
James and Kirk started it all for me, musically. Metallica opened the floodgates to all of my other favorite metal bands. I’d love the opportunity to talk to James, Kirk, Rob, and Lars and see them do their thing night after night. I love all Metallica albums, with the Black Album likely at the top, but I really do love Load and ReLoad (with ReLoad having some of my favorite songs of all time on it, like “The Memory Remains” and “The Unforgiven II”).
Zakk Wylde (Ozzy, Black Label Society, Pantera, solo, etc.)
Zakk Wylde is my guy! Watching him shred with Ozzy on the Live at Budokan DVD when I first started playing guitar changed my world. I love everything Zakk touches—songwriting, singing, shredding, riffing, etc. It’d be a dream come true to get to chat with Zakk about all of the things on tour or even just one spectacular day. What a LEGEND.
Van Halen w/ Sammy Hagar
I’m a huge Van Halen fan, so it’d be a no-brainer to have them on the tour. I got to see Eddie play twice live, once with Sammy Hagar and once with David Lee Roth. My parents raised me on all things classic rock/’80s rock, so I got my fix of all eras of VH, but we’ve always leaned Sammy. The 5150 album is my absolute favorite, and I just love what Sammy brought to the band, so I’d pick VH w/ Sammy to join us. I’m sure the laughs and stories would be plentiful!
Arch Enemy
Arch Enemy has been and will always be one of my biggest influences and favorite bands. Michael Amott’s sense of melody in his songwriting is incredible. I would love to pick his brain on each album and some specific riffs, leads, and solos. Hearing “We Will Rise” on the Anthems of Rebellion album pulled me in, and then I remember buying the Doomsday Machine CD at the Dublin, California Best Buy on the day it was released. The opening intro track “Enter the Machine” going right into “Taking Back My Soul” w/ the Gus G guest solo changed my world. Arch Enemy pulled me into just how incredible Swedish Metal is (Evergrey, Amaranthe, In Flames, Soilwork, HEAT, etc.). They would be an absolute honor to have on the tour!
Ryan Hegefeld’s LTC Dream Tour picks:
Fuel
The most influential group for me was definitely Fuel! I listened to the first 3 major records on repeat and still dive back into them on occasion. When the songwriting bug hit me, Fuel was my driving force and template to chase. This is an obvious choice for me for a dream tour.
Breaking Benjamin
I still don’t think Ben Burnley can write a bad song. I was in Alaska the first time I heard “So Cold,” and I was absolutely sucked in. The sound, the voice, and the songs were perfect. And then Phobia came out, and it was even more perfect. Would love to tour alongside those gents!
Clay Walker
I grew up listening to rock and country. Clay Walker is my soft spot for sure. I still jam all of his releases, and it usually gives me those nostalgic feelings of my childhood and family memories. I love how music can be a time capsule that you can tap into anytime you want. I greatly admire Clay and his one-of-a-kind voice. It helps me “go back home.” So good. I would be on cloud nine to spend time on the road with the falsetto king!
My Chemical Romance
I used to watch and mimic Gerard’s stage presence and music video antics. MCR tunes always found a way to captivate me. His vocabulary in songs is something I’ve always chased as well.
What I would give to collaborate on The Black Parade on stage one day.
