Krystal Keith Makes Fresh Salsa & Guacamole – COOKING AT 65MPH Ep. 3 [VIDEO]

In this episode of Cooking at 65mph, the country music artist, Krystal Keith, shows you how to make some tasty salsa and guacamole, on her tour bus, while she was on Toby Keith’s “Shut Up & Hold On Tour.” You can watch the video, after the break.

Ingredients:
Salsa
Red onion – 2 tbsp
Cilantro – 2 tbsp
Tomatoes – 2
White onion – 1 tbsp
Jalapeno – 1 tbsp
Limes – 1/2
Salt (to your liking)

Guacamole
Avocados – 2 (1 soft and 1 firm)
Limes – 1
Cilantro – 2 tbsp
Salt (to your liking)
Black pepper (to your liking)

Orange Lemonade
Lemonade – 6 oz
Oranges – 1/2
Vodka – 1 oz

Cooking Directions (demonstrated in the video):
Salsa
1. Rough chop 2 tbsp of red onion, two whole tomatoes, 1 tbsp of white onion and 1 tbsp of jalapeno.
2. Add the red onion, cilantro, tomato, white onion and jalapeno to the blender.
3. Blend the ingredients until they are blended thoroughly.
4. Empty the salsa from the blender into a bowl.
5. Squeeze half of a lime on top and salt the salsa to your liking.
6. Do a final mix of all of the ingredients in the bowl.

Guacamole
1. Cut the two avocados in half and pop out the pits.
2. Carefully use a knife to make vertical and horizontal lines through each half of avocado.
3. Use a spoon to remove the cut cubes of avocado into your bowl.
4. Use a fork to mash the avocado, until all there is left is a few chunks.
5. Squeeze 3/4ths of a lime into the mashed avocado.
6. Rough chop 2 tbsp of cilantro and add it to the avocado.
7. Add some salt and then mix the ingredients together.
8. Add some black pepper and squeeze the last 1/4th of a lime onto the top of the guacamole.

Orange Lemonade
1. Fill cup with ice and 6 oz of lemonade.
2. Cut an orange in half and squeeze half of an orange into the lemonade.
3. Add 1 oz of Vodka and stir.
