K.Flay – 1st ROAD BLOG from Awolnation’s “Run Tour 2015”

The indie/hip-hop artist, K.Flay, is currently on the road supporting Awolnation on their “Run Tour 2015.” While she’s on this tour, she will be doing a blog for us. You can check out the first entry, with photos, after the break.

GREETINGS FROM ATLANTA, GEORGIA!

We have a show here this evening, which I’m very excited for. last time we were in town, we went to a strip club called the pink pony & I woke up with popcorn in my right boot.

Yesterday was kind of crazy. drove from Dallas to san Antonio for a radio show in the morning, then headed back in the opposite direction to get over to New Orleans. Spent 13 hours in the van, but it was worth it because we got to have a night out in the big ol easy.

I danced on a dirty bar floor like a legit lunatic (see pic), an irritable middle-aged woman played us Billy Joel songs on a piano and we got into an argument with strangers over the last slice of pizza.

Oh, one cool thing: we have played in 4 cities on this tour that I’ve never been to before. Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, & Tulsa.

Had literally some of the best cold brew coffee of my life in Tulsa. The place is called Chimera. Drink up.
