My dream tour would consist of artists I believe are close to my genre and what I do, so the whole night would be buzzing. I base my songwriting on deriving stories from real-life experiences and situations, woven together with my own unique vocal range and delivery.

For me to be truly invested as a fan of another artist or writer, it’s vital for me to understand their story and the path they are taking through music.

With that being said, if this were a Joseph Morris tour, my main support act would be James Arthur, hands down!

He’s an artist I’ve looked up to for years, since his incursion into the mainstream world of music in 2012, and he has carved out his niche in pop. His ability to tell a real story without fear of embellishing too much is phenomenal. The raw grit in his voice, too, is something that captures my imagination and inspires me to build my own tracks.

Then, to open, I’d have Lewis Capaldi, another stunning and unique pop artist.

With Capaldi, his approach isn’t too dissimilar to Arthur’s; his music comes from a very real place (from what I can hear). He’s a real enigma who’s unapologetically himself—warts and all. I salute anyone who can wear their heart on their sleeve; none of us are perfect. It’s inspiring to see an artist being very real about their mental state and putting themselves first. It indicates to me that this is an artist who’ll only put out material to the world that’s genuine.
