Get Scared – 2nd ROAD BLOG from the HK Army Pizza Party Tour

We are very happy to have Get Scared doing an exclusive Road Blog for us while they are on the HK Army Pizza Party Tour with Dead Rabbitt and Rob The Cartel! To see the band’s second and final entry, head to after the break.

After a 10-day break we head out to finish the last few days of tour, Chain Reaction in Anaheim CA is the next venue we play.. Everyone’s all showered up, had full stomachs of food, and clean laundry so the day started off amazing!

Got to the venue early and there were already kids waiting at the doors, we all just hung out for a while with everyone until we were able to load in our gear. As the day went on more people showed up, the HK ARMY bus we are on started to fill up with more people\friends\family.. In no time at all it was like the 10-day break off tour never happened at all, we just picked right up where we left off.. Once we got on stage things just got better from there! The crowd was amazing! We have such dedicated fans in Anaheim! Singing every word to all of our new songs! We had some technical difficulties here and there but oh well! The show rocked! After the show everyone hung out in the parking lot forever.. On this tour we usually end up celebrating by seeing how many people we can fit on the bus and having dance parties haha.

Next show we had was at the Whisky a GO GO in Hollywood!  Of course trying to park a bus on Sunset Blvd is a bitch so we had to pay 175 dollars for a parking spot across the street!  Loading gear that night was super fun….not! haha.

Almost 400 people were at this show though so we were stoked!  Played a great solid show and did the routine thing after! Hang out with everyone and dance party on the bus.. another very successful night

Next stop was Lancaster, CA.. 3rd day of tour, no showers and stinky socks are starting to pile up, it’s ok though.. that’s what water bottles and travel shampoos are for right? haha.   They switched venues for that days show last minute so we played this place called the Industry Theater. I guess this place is right next to a church and we were told to be on good behavior.. well.. that didn’t go over well.. Its ok, no fights broke out and nothing got broken so we are good. ..but yea the show was way fun.  We had to leave early that night so we decided to have a dance party while driving! Jamming everything from Taylor Swift to Limp Bizkit!

Next show was Stockton, CA at Plea For Peace. Kids there are awesome! The city kind of worried us a little bit! Right as we pulled up there was this lady dancing half naked in the road. ..looking like she was doing some kind of drugged out spirit dance?? I don’t know haha but cops instantly showed up and arrested her. So yea that was interesting.. then about 20 minutes later there were little kids asking me to buy them beer. Crazy ass town! But yea anyways we loaded in gear, usual routine etc..  It wasn’t the biggest show we played on the tour but the kids made us feel very welcome and we had a blast with them..

Sadly we end up on the last day of tour. Ace of Spades in Sacramento CA. everyone is excited because the venue is awesome and there were a ton of kids there! But everyone had a sad energy just because we all new this was the last day. Everyone on tour has grown into a family and we were all having so much fun we didn’t want it to end, we went out strong though! Everyone played such an intense show and really gave it our all! At the end of the night there were so many “last beer goodbyes” half of the dudes on the tour passed out in random places on the bus it was actually pretty funny.  But yea we didn’t get to stay for a dance party, we had to pack up and head back home!

The tour was a complete success!!  It was short but amazing! So fun getting to be with some of our best friends, and being able to make new ones!  Seeing all the familiar faces of fans that show us so much support made everyday so much brighter for us

Keep up with the band on Facebook and Twitter.
