Join us as EAST YORK tells you what they do before taking the stage.

In this Preshow Rituals segment, the alternative rock/metal band, EAST YORK, reveals what they do before taking the stage. You can check out the rituals below:
Our pre-show rituals are many and varied due to the fact that we have all been touring in one way or another for about 20 years!
Daz, guitars, will be zenned out as Daz always is until about an hour or so before we go on, at which time he will start pacing and stretching and generally start to hype everyone up. A guitar will come out and he will generally walk around with it strapped on until go time. Joel, bass, is usually to be found sorting out merch and running errands until it’s time to start warming up. The shots of Jameson (and Jameson only) will be poured, and he will distribute them accordingly.
Tarquin, vocals, is usually the last to show up, having spent time alone warming up and stretching. About an hour out, a beer will be cracked, and he will pretty much go silent until showtime. Zane, drums, usually starts warming up with a cigarette before the sticks come out and paradiddles start flying. A shot and a cigarette for luck, and EAST YORK is ready to rock...
