brokeNCYDE – 3rd ROAD BLOG from 2013 European Tour with Millionaires

The crunkcore band, brokeNCYDE, is currently on a European tour with Millionaires. While they’re on this tour, the band’s singer, Mikl Shea, will be writing an exclusive blog (with photos) for us. You can check out the third and final entry, after the break.

One last show with the ladies in the Millionaires and we end it in Frankfurt, Germany. We arrived 4 hours early, so we walked around and saw a marathon begin. We joined and won! No not really, we just looked at the market that was selling souvenirs and got a cup of Starbucks. 4pm hits, so we finally load in, sound check and wait for doors to open!

The show flew by and we hit the stage. The crowd in Frankfurt is always amazing and full of energy and definitely didn’t disappoint. After our set, we headed out to meet our fans and after the last person left, we packed up and had to head to the airport to drop off the Millionaires.

When a tour ends its almost like graduation where you are sad and realize how fast time goes by, so we say our goodbyes to them and head all the way back to the UK. We had a few days off until we had to be in Russia, so we took it easy until we had to leave.

The time has come for us to leave for Russia. We are nervous and anxious to see what is in store for us. We fly and make it to Moscow where we meet our TM (tour manager) and went to the hotel. We decided to walk around and see what Moscow is all about. We had to take their subway trains everywhere, which was super confusing, but also very entertaining and new. After a long journey, we went to the venue where we were excited to play for our Russian fans.

The show starts and these fans know word for word and really appreciate artists. After our set we went to our merch table, where we spent over an hour signing and taking pictures, which made us really appreciate our fans! The next morning, we got to the train depot where we caught a bullet train that took us to St. Petersburg, which ended up being a great show as well.

After a few hours of sleep, we went to the airport to begin our 30+ hour journey home. We made it safe and sound! Thank you to everybody that came out to the shows and everybody that read this! Thanks to Digital Tour Bus! Stay crunk!!
