My first concert was Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, and honestly, it felt like stepping into another world. I went with my sister, Sophia Brown, and the whole experience was unforgettable. It wasn’t just a concert—it felt like a full-on art show, a celebration of being bold, different, and completely yourself.

The show was filled with futuristic visuals, robotic arms, and wild, beautiful outfits. Beyoncé brought together dance, house, and ballroom music in a way that honored the Black queer artists who helped shape those scenes. The stage would go from simple and focused to massive and jaw-dropping in seconds. The lighting, the dancers, the energy—it was all timed perfectly, like one big, living performance.

What stuck with me most was how she made the whole stage feel like an art gallery. Her body, her outfits, her movements—everything was part of the story. She reminded me of icons like Grace Jones and Thierry Mugler, with a style that was strong, stylish, and full of meaning. Every look had purpose, and every moment flowed into the next like a dream.

Now Sophia and I are counting down the days until June, when we get to see her again for the Cowboy Carter tour. If Renaissance was a space-age dream, I can’t wait to see what kind of world she builds this time.
