Beddy Rays – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the alternative rock band, Beddy Rays, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

Our dream tour would be with Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Foo Fighters.

Green Day
We’d throw Green Day on because they’re a massive inspiration to us, great songwriters, great hooks and they all seem funny as f**k. They seem like they’d be a great band to have beers with and learn a thing or two about touring from. Nimrod was particularly inspiring to us and Lewy’s (guitarist) first album was a 20-track greatest hits album with all of the top hits from Nimrod, Dookie, Insomniac, and Warning. He used to listen to it on drives to school with Dad and on the way to footy training and games. When we were younger we used to play Green Day songs a lot. We’d also sit on the school oval and write songs about our teachers haha!

Foo Fighters
We would love to have Foo Fighters on the lineup. Dave Grohl is such a cool dude, he is a weapon of a guitarist, drummer, and frontman. Fooies started off the back of such a tragic moment and have come so far. They put on such a good rock show. Who wouldn’t want to watch that every night? They look like good dudes to hang out with, no egos or anything. It’d be cool to also throw Nirvana on the lineup just to see them. It’s a dream tour after all!

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Brad (bassist) reckons he would love to have Chili’s on the tour to show Flea a thing or two haha. Just kidding, but he’d love to learn from Flea and the band that’s for sure! We all went to see RHCP when we were younger and nearly got into a fight with some of the older crowd because they didn’t like us pushing through to the front but we didn’t care. They’re such a timeless band and appreciated by all generations and have inspired each of us so much.
