Blameshift – 5th ROAD BLOG from the Beneath The Scars Tour with 12 Stones

Blameshift is currently on an awesome tour called the “Beneath The Scars Tour” with headliners 12 Stones, as well as supporting acts Digital Summer and Throwing Gravity! The band lead singer Jenny, will be writing a Road Blog entry once a week to keep you updated with everything that is going on with the tour. The fifth and final update can be read after the break.

Hey guys,

Sadly this is my final installment of the “Beneath The Scars” Tour blog series. The last few dates of the tour had us in Baltimore, Charlotte and Marietta, GA. The show in Baltimore at the Recher Theater was definitely a tour highlight. Unfortunately our friends in Throwing Gravity were not on that show…but we made up for it by bringing their lead guitarist out for our last song!

Nothing could compare to our last night of the tour in Marietta, GA. That would be the last night all four bands would be together and we wanted to go out with a bang. We had a couple different pranks up our sleeve and later found out that the other bands did too.

During our set a man dressed in a long wig, daisy duke jean shorts and a muscle shirt came up on stage to serve us shots and wipe our sweat for us. It was none other than Paul McCoy from 12 Stones. The crowd loved it, as did we. Then, on our last song we were silly stringed by our buddies in Digital Summer who were in the audience dressed up.

Once 12 Stones hit the stage we started to get ready for the final prank. I somehow convinced all 12 guys in the remaining bands to dress up in my under garments and come up on stage for their song, Infected. It proved to be one of the funniest/most memorable tour moments ever! Check our Facebook for pics and video of the madness.

All in all, this tour was one that I will never forget. Thanks for coming along for the journey!

’til next time…

xoxo
Jenny
