Never perform after a kid or animal act.

Drew Fortier, guitarist (The Lucid, ZFM):
I find that finding comedy in as much as humanly possible gets you through the long runs and helps keep your sanity in check! Also, to expand on what Vin said above, when I was in Bang Tango, we played the Iowa State Fair and an inner city youth group went on before us... they slayed and stole the whole damn show!

David Ellefson, bassist (The Lucid, ex-Megadeth):
With coffee and an iPhone, you can go anywhere and do anything on this planet!! And you should probably bring a bass, too!

Mike Heller, drummer (The Lucid, ZFM, Raven):
Pack extra underwear because you never know if your guitarist will shit in your pants when you aren't looking.
