If I could create my dream lineup, it would 100% have to be a festival, there’s just no other way to fit in all the icons.

We’d kick things off with the incomparable Aretha Franklin, belting out her classics and, of course, doing the legendary coat drop. No one — and I mean no one — does it like Aretha. Then Nina Simone would join her on stage for a spine tingling duet of “Feeling Good.” Can you imagine that energy?!

Next, to keep the emotions raw and real, Janis Joplin would take over with a stripped back version of “Cry Baby,” just her and an electric guitar. Epic doesn’t even begin to cover it.

After that soulful storm, Amy Winehouse would glide on stage to perform her entire FRANK album from start to finish — pure heaven. Then we’d shift gears with Sam Divine, my ultimate favourite DJ, spinning her magic and getting everyone moving before RAYE brings a full on spectacle — live band, choir, orchestra, the works.

And to close it all in true jaw dropping fashion? P!nk would literally fly in on a trapeze (because of course she would), and that’s when I’d join her on stage for a duet of some of her most influential songs — the ones that inspired me to do what I do today.

You can probably tell I’ve thought about this once or twice… right?

Oh… and did someone say encore? Obviously, that would have to be me, RAYE, and P!nk all performing my latest single “Never Be Forgotten.” Honestly, I love them both so much I’d even let them take the ad libs — and that’s saying something, because that’s my favourite part to sing live!
