Maria Ellis - DREAM TOUR
Join us as Maria Ellis reveals who would be on her dream tour lineup.
In this Dream Tour segment, the pop/R&B artist, Maria Ellis, reveals who she would want on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out her picks below:
My dream lineup would be full of my biggest musical inspirations. I would have to include Nirvana because they are my absolute favorite band of all time. Their artistry was incredible, and they have created some of the best music of all time. I love watching videos of them playing live because they had this insane energy and undeniable chemistry when they played together. I would love to hear Heart Shaped Box live.
The next person in my dream lineup would be Mariah Carey. I’ve never seen Mariah live but I know between her perfect crystalline voice and catalog of hits that it would be incredible! She has made some of my favorite songs like We Belong Together, My All, and Fantasy to name a few.
Another artist that would have to be in my dream lineup is Ariana Grande. I saw Ariana at the Sweetener World Tour in 2019, and she has the most beautiful voice that I’ve ever heard live. She has an amazing stage presence and is constantly raising the bar for herself as an artist. I would love to hear her latest 2 albums (Positions and Eternal Sunshine) live because they include some of my favorite music from her. I would really love to hear Safety Net or We Can’t Be Friends live.
The next artist I would have in my dream lineup is Miss Miley Cyrus. I’ve seen Miley twice — the first time was on the Hannah Montana tour. She was only 14 years old at the time, but she had the most incredible show that anyone at any age could ever put on. During the closing of the show, she came out with her guitar and sang a song called I Miss You, which was about her grandfather who had recently passed. I still listen to that song to this day and wonder how someone so young could put grief and loss so perfectly. The last time I saw Miley was in 2015 during her Dead Petz album, which also included some of my favorite music from her, specifically a song called Karen Don’t Be Sad. Miley is a one of one artist, and I would love to see her perform again.
Last but not least, my dream lineup would have to include Beyoncé. I’ve never gotten the privilege of seeing her live, but I’ve watched every single award show performance, and concert movie she has ever done. Beyoncé is a legendary performer. She has one of the best voices of all time but also is an amazing dancer and gives her all to her work. She has inspired me so much as an artist and continues to keep topping herself. Her 2016 album Lemonade is one of my favorite albums of all time. I would love to hear Don’t Hurt Yourself or Ring The Alarm live.
These are one of the few artists that I would love on my dream tour and are my biggest influences. Check out my new songs "Hater" and “I Like Me (When I’m Loving You)." Thank you so much for having me!
