Dyne Side - TOUR PRANKS

I think one of the best tour pranks that was done to us was when we were on tour with Nothing More. We had entered a Danny Wimmer competition in order to get this tour and we found ourselves hunting for votes all the way down to the last second. We couldn’t believe we were able to find all of the votes we got and made it happen.

First, I want to note, we had not ever asked for things on a tour rider with such a big band until then, so we were like ummmm let’s ask for apples, bananas, oranges, and water. We didn’t want anything else really as we were really trying to not eat bad on this run. So we got to the first show we had, which was in Indiana. The production crew greeted us kindly and they honestly made the entire experience truly one to remember. They were sooooooo funny — they got little brown paper bags and wrote our names on each of the bags and put little treats inside as well, as if we were all kids ready for our first day of preschool. We were laughing hysterically inside the green room for about 10 minutes straight at the sight of the bags because the presentation was just remarkable and we couldn’t get over it.

The last show of the tour is when the big prank happened. On the last song of our set, we had no clue what was about to take place. We were fully immersed into our last song of the night, ready to leave the impact to all who were watching. So what happened? The entire crew came up and started tearing down all of our equipment as we played, but we still kept playing while trying to contain our laughs and smiles. Even some members of Nothing More came on stage to help tear down as well for our last song lol. A wonderful moment that we will never forget.
