CARNE - DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the alternative rock band, CARNE, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks below:

Milo (Guitar/Backing Vocals): For me, an absolute dream tour would be to support Failure if they ever came to the UK—or whenever they would take us, I’m not picky! They are a huge hidden gem of the 90’s (probably one of your favorite band’s favorite bands) and such a massive influence on our sound. Being such a massive nerd when it comes to the music production side of things as well, I would probably spend the majority of tour trying to get Ken Andrew’s of Failure to spill some of his secrets from the work he has done in that side of music as well.

Carmen (Vocals/Guitar): Similarly to Milo, I was initially gonna pick Failure, but he said exactly what I thought on them. I’m gonna pick a band called Filter. I’ve previously supported them with my past band and they were the loveliest people to be on tour with and very badass, so if they’d fancy taking CARNE on another tour I’d love that! Our song VAST was actually written coming off of this amazing experience on the road and really resonates with this.

My other picks would be to tour with A Perfect Circle and/or The Smashing Pumpkins, two of my favourite bands. CARNE is heavily influenced by US-sounding bands from the 90s in general, and those bands have been so influential on the sound we’re making—especially on a song like VAST.
