The Scutches – 2nd ROAD BLOG from their “Summer Tour 2012”

The Scutches is on their 2012 Summer Tour. While on tour they will be writing periodic blogs for us. The second one can be read after the break.

Well, we were on our way to Montreal to play a few shows but unfortunately that didn’t happen. When we reached the Canadian border the border patrol did some research and found out we’re a “working band.” Needless to say we were more than annoyed about the fact that we weren’t going to see our friends and play 2 shows with some special guests we had planned on having.

So, with no other option we had to return back southwest to continue the rest of the tour on schedule. Pissed off, tired and hungry, we ended up crashing at a motel in Plattsburgh, NY. The next day was a travel day where we drove west across New York and part of Pennsylvania. Once we reached Ohio we stopped again to get some sleep, a waffle house dinner, and of coarse beers …not exactly in that order.

We got up this morning and continued our trip to Michigan. We just finally made it and met up with some friends and grabbed some food. We’re suiting up for our show tonight and are excited to get back to playing after two days “off”.
