The Sam Willows – DREAM TOUR

Being an English-speaking band from Southeast Asia, we’ve always looked up to bands from the West. The bands we look up to the most are Coldplay, The Script, and Beyoncé.

The lights, visuals, and overall production value are something we really hope we could do some day. Putting together a tour takes an entire village and it’s crazy just thinking about the work that goes in to creating a tour like theirs.

Coldplay has been a huge inspiration for the band. The songwriting across all the albums was amazing, and we were fortunate enough to catch them live in Singapore. Just to feel that energy in the stadium with 50,000 people is something you can’t get on screen, only at a venue.

We were lucky to have opened for The Script during their tour in Singapore in 2015. Their song lyrics are by far one of our favorites and Danny is an incredible vocalist. You can hear the band’s passion in their performance and touring with them would be a dream come true.

As for Beyoncé, what’s there not to love? She’s the queen. Being in the same room as her would already be crazy!
