The next stop we had was in Smithtown, NY on Long Island at a venue called the Masonic Temple. The drive there was frightening to say the least. Traffic was unbearable and the tolls to take the bridges were unrealistically expensive. However, once we got the venue we were greeted by Clay who was the promoter for the venue. He was by far the coolest and most hospitable promoter we have had the pleasure of working with so far. The show went great and we met some pretty awesome dudes and dudettes. Our next drive was back to New Jersey in a town called Freehold at a VFW hall. Before the show, we stopped at our our label owner Josh Grabelle’s house and hung out for a bit and went out for lunch. He took us to an official Jersey diner so we could say we had experienced it. On this particular day, the temperature was somewhere above 100 degrees, but much higher with the heat index. Although the show was outside, a lot of kids stuck around to check us out to make it well worth the heat exhaustion. As soon as we finished playing, we had to drive 13 hours to Michigan for Fest Fest 3 with Inhale Exhale. This was another outdoor show at the Muskegon Fairgrounds, but not nearly as hot as the day before. As tired as we were from the 13 hour drive, we gave it our all for the final show of the tour. The New Kids On The Block Tour w/ A Faylene Sky was such an awesome experience for us and we really learned a lot from it. We had never done an actual tour before so this was a real eye opener at what tours in the future will consist of. We want to thank everyone who came out and supported us, Chris Saylers, Capitl Clothing, Positively Negative Clothing, GoAhead Booking, and mostly A Faylene Sky for joining us in this tour. They were awesome dudes and we can’t wait to tour with them in the near future.
