In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the country artist, RVSHVD, shares one of his stories from being on the road. You can check out the story below:

So in 2022, my band and I went on a small tour. We had just left Birmingham, Alabama and our next stop was Louisville, Kentucky. The band got there before me and when I walked in, my tour manager said “Y’all like the drum set?”. I responded, “Yeah it looks good”. Then he said, “Well good, ‘cause it’s ours”. At this point, I’m confused. That’s when he told me what happened. He called the venue ahead to see what equipment they had, just in case we didn’t have it. They didn’t tell him they didn’t have drums and he didn’t find out until we got there. So my tour manager had to drive to Guitar Center and buy a brand new drum set. Afterward, we did the show, packed the drums carefully, and returned to the hotel. We had another show the next day and my tour manager had to return the drums before we left. But on the entire to Kentucky, I’d just been thinking, “Man, I hope they got some drums.”
