Rotnest

In this Dream Tour segment, the deathcore band, Rotnest, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

Thank you for checking out our feature with Digital Tour Bus. The idea of a “dream tour” is something we could deliberate over forever, but here is at least one tour we would love to be a part of.
Metallica
What can you say about Metallica other than they are the biggest rock/metal band of all time? Their influence on us specifically, as well as heavy rock music as a whole, is immeasurable.
Mudvayne
Mudvayne is probably the biggest musical influence on our vocalist, Izzy. LD-50 specifically was one of the first albums that he truly considers a masterpiece. The raw vocal performances, lyrics, progressive elements, bass and guitar performances, etc. are huge influences on Rotnest as a whole.
Limp Bizkit
Simplicity, feeling, groove, and RIFFS above all. “Limp Bizkit” can be a dirty word in our genre, but they are without a doubt one of the greatest musical acts to exist. Wes Bordland’s guitar playing and live presentation puts him on another level of performer and flat-out, love him or hate him, Fred Durst is an all-time great front-man.
Emmure
Much in the same vein as Limp Bizkit, Emmure has some of the grooviest riffs and songs in modern heavy music. Frankie is another great front-man. Controversial, real, talented, powerful – the man is a rockstar. Their 2020 album “Hindsight” was the nu-metal revival that we needed.
The Acacia Strain
Clearly a front-runner for one of, if not the, best heavy bands to ever exist. Their influence on the deathcore, hardcore, heavy scenes (like Metallica with rock and metal to a smaller degree) is insane. Who doesn’t love The Acacia Strain?
Deserters
This one is a bit more personal (and currently impossible as they’re on hiatus indefinitely). For our vocalist Izzy, seeing Deserters live for the first time was extremely influential. The lyrics are some of the most genuine, real shit you will ever hear.

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
