Ok so on the expertly named and timed ‘Three Months Healyum Tour’ we’d take the bill all over the world for a solid Three Months, being on the road so long we’re going to need to prioritise the important things in life… we would have portraits of our dogs hanging in the dressings rooms so they are there with us in spirit, a HUGE amount of food on the rider and even more alcohol (mainly green VK’s)… On our dream tour, everyone would be super loving and there wouldn’t be one single argument over who ate who’s sandwich and who borrowed who’s clothes without asking. (Not that that happens normally). Only good vibes.
Line-up wise this is more for our own entertainment on the road than anything else, The Libertines would be up at the top of the bill to guarantee there would always be a big after-party. We’d want The Hives being super energetic and generally hilarious, Bloc Party and Oh Wonder being clever and innovative – mainly because we love them – and Haim too because Jed our drummer really fancies the bassist and needs another pop at chatting her up.
Style-wise we need to make sure Lana Del Ray makes an appearance, collectively we all agree she has a good look and sounds great so if we are to have a dream tour then why not have her support us too? We’d also need to slip London Grammar onto the bill as they have an uncanny ability to immerse you in their music which would be criminal if people didn’t get the chance to feel… maybe they should play the chill-out after party whilst Pete Doherty is popping up at the ‘proper’ after party!
For our set, we’d invite guests to join us on stage… definitely, Bez when we play Manchester to spice things up, having a pro maraca player and a variety of unique dance moves on offer by one of Manchester’s own pioneers in the maraca/dance phenomenon would be awesome.
