In this Dream Tour segment, the indie rock band, Farewell Dear Ghost, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

Thinking of touring right now sounds utterly inconceivable, but at the same time incredibly exciting. We’ve constantly been asking ourselves what ultimate touring line-up we could bring to the table. In our minds, it would be one huge well-planned circus, with each artist adjusting to a circus role. Furthermore, it would be incredibly exciting if the performance had a storyline and some acting was involved. Imagine the expanded Talking Heads line-up and David Byrne jumping around in his big suit, maintaining the energy of the Stop-Making-Sense era and thus, driving the audience completely insane.
Apart from that, it would be a dream to share the stage with one of the artists that shaped modern music as we perceive it and never ceases to amaze us – Justin Vernon. He could bring along some of his friends – Taylor Swift, Aaron Dessner, Kanye West – and they might let us catch a glimpse of their songwriting procedure. Additionally, I think it would be very exciting to listen to the conversations between Taylor Swift and David Byrne. They would get along with each other just fine.
Another artist we would love to share the stage with would be Janelle Monae. Not just because she’s an incredible actress, but rather because of her amazing talent. David Byrne covered one of her songs – „Hell You Talmbout“ – which is by far the most powerful and moving protest song I’ve ever heard. When it comes to successful tours, it’s always crucial to have people around that are close to each other. With that particular dream lineup, we can focus on building strong relationships. We’ve found inspiration in all of these artists and it would be an honor to perform with them and have coffee with them.
