Join us as Doll Riot tells a first concert story.

In this First Concert Ever segment, the alternative punk band, Doll Riot, talks about the story of their first experience with live music. You can check out the story below:

When I was young my mom and dad took me to go see their friends band the Creepy Creeps. They opened up for the Vandals at The Observatory in North Park. I remember at the time I didn’t really know who the Vandals were apart from their song Urban Struggle, which my dad would always play.

I remember standing in the back with my parents when the Vandals went on, I was watching all the people on the floor forming a pit and I was fascinated by it. I kept telling my dad I wanted to go down there, but I was far too young so I just watched from the back.

That was my first concert ever and first exposure to a mosh pit and I was in love with it, to this day the Vandals mean a lot to me because of this experience.
