ACCVSED

In this First Concert Ever segment, the metalcore band, ACCVSED, talks about the stories of their first experiences with live music. You can check out the story, after the break.

Valentin (guitarist): “Went to my first “real“ concert in 2013 to see A Day to Remember on their Europa Tour in Offenbach (Germany). Me and my friends were around 15 at the time so my dad actually had to drive us and watch the show himself. ADTR was supported by The Story So Far and Every Time I Die, both bands I’ve never heard of before but have been a fan ever since. When ADTR started and played “All I want“ as the opening song, the whole room was moving immediately and I felt an energy like never before. The whole sound, performance, and energy of the show was amazing, sparked a lot of great memories, and surely played a role in my desire to become a touring musician.“
Tino (singer): “My first concert was in 2007 at the Schlachthof Wiesbaden. I remember seeing As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engage. That was one of the sweatiest events I’ve ever been to. The sweat dropped from the ceiling and we had to drive home naked because our clothes were completely wet. Nice evening.“
Max (guitar): “My first concert was in 2008. I went to see In Flames in Wiesbaden with a friend from school. I didn’t know anything about the other bands playing that night, but I remember me liking Gojira as the opener so much that I just started to headbang for the first time in life. Much to the amazement (or shock) of said friend.“
Chris (drums): “I also remember seeing Killswitch Engage at my first show I ever visited. I was 13 years old and my brother picked me up after school midweek. The show was sold out and I got lost in the crowd right after the first song. After their set I had a lot of bruises, my clothes were just wet from all the beer showers and the sweat of the crowd, and my neck hurt like hell. I immediately fell in love with it.”
