The Heirs – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, Savannah Hudson of the indie pop band, The Heirs, talks about some of their crazy moments from touring. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Ahh, there are so many wonderful and crazy tour stories to choose from, but our personal favorite is when we headlined the El Rey Theatre this past fall. It was our biggest headline to date and we felt like we were gonna throw up when we first came on stage. Seeing the theater that we grew up going to see shows at filled with people there to see us was surreal.

It gets better…

All of our friends and fans brought bouquets of flowers and threw them up on stage to us! There were (with no exaggeration) hundreds of flowers covering the stage. It was so so beautiful. The stage got so covered, Brandon and I, mid show, had to remove our shoes because the flower pedals were so slippery. Alex, on the other hand, did not have time to remove his and slipped on his final guitar solo landing on his back. But being the badass that he is, he just laid on the floor as if nothing happened and finished his guitar solo lying amongst the flowers. That to us was pretty special. – Savannah Hudson
