We have had countless hilarious experiences on the road, it’s really hard to just pick a couple to talk about.
One time we had to do the first half of a summer tour without Brandon because he was visiting family in the Caribbean. A few days into the tour, Brian had to fly home from Texas due to a family emergency, leaving us as a four piece band. The boys eventually caught flights to meet back up with us in St. Louis days later, where we had just experienced a very strange performance the night before. These complications made this tour exceptionally unique, and memorable to say the least. Brandon had been feeling unwell the day before he met back up with the tour. The first thing he ate once he arrived in the states was Burger King. Our next show as a complete band was the next day in Peoria, Illinois at The Brass Rail. Brandon played with us and started to feel weak after our set. He went to lay down in the van; we partied with the venue staff until the early morning. When we got back to the van Brandon was in bad shape. The next morning Brandon awoke to terrible pain throughout his abdomen. He persisted through our seemingly endless drive, and played in Chicago with us that night. We went to bed early that evening and woke up to a drive from Chicago, Illinois to Albany, New York. Brandon wasn’t getting any better, and he went to the hospital where he was admitted to the ER for an intestinal infection, assumed to have been caused by the Caribbean drinking water. He left the hospital at 8am with a prescription, and we picked him up an hour later to go play two shows back to back in Cobleskill, NY and Trenton, NJ. The rest of the tour was incredible and we are thankful Brandon didn’t die along the way.
One other funny tour experience was after a different New Jersey performance at a venue called Jump Zone. We were super excited and decided to celebrate at the hotel with our friends in a band called Visions (Ryan O’Leary/Fit For A King). We decided to go to the store, which required us to cross a highway adjacent to our hotel balcony. Brandon, and our former drummer left the room without me (Logan) and I could see them walking across the highway from our balcony. I’ll admit, I had been indulging that night. We were on the third floor, and I saw a Uhaul box truck beneath our balcony. I decided to run and leap from the balcony onto the truck to catch up to the boys. I survived the jump, and popped off the side on the truck. To my surprise, the person renting the truck was still inside and hopped out to catch me, but I was already long gone. That was one of the funniest nights of my life.

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
