Ligia Hojda – DREAM TOUR

Hello, I am Ligia Hojda. My dream tour lineup would include the artists who have made me feel the beauty of music.

I will start with of one my favorite bands: Coldplay. I have been listening to their music since I was a child. I remember how my friends and I used to play their songs “Fix You” and “Yellow” on guitar. They are creative and innovative, and, while they’ve reached the top of the music charts, they still have a way of keeping their original identity. Their shows are fantastic; they create a magical world.

Florence and The Machine; they are a unique band with a very special voice. Florence manages to take you into another world, their music gives you wings to fly. She has a particular sensitivity and also a beautiful whimsy. I like their contrast between light and dark, and I love how they incorporate a harp into their music besides the usual instruments. “Cosmic Love” is one of my favorite songs.

Birdy is a very rare individual. She has a natural and angelic voice that gives a special beauty to the melancholy; she has a sensitivity like no other. She is a natural and honest artist who sings from the soul to the souls. Her compositions are lovely. She is an artist I keep very close to my heart.

Aurora is a young artist that I have discovered recently. She is someone that has something special about he, mixing a sensitivity and playfulness. She once said during an interview that when you create music, time stops. When you listen to her music, time stops for sure. Her debut album, “All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend” is great.

I have other artists who I could have included: London Grammar, Ed Sheeran, Lana del Ray etc, and of course the artists and bands from my country: Vama, Vița de Vie, Byron, and my sisters Maria, Flavia, and Francesca who have just begun performing.
