When this band goes on tour, we always stop at Tedeschi’s for a Powerbar and some Red Bulls. Then we cruise, listening to tunes (Krill), making up new band names that rhyme with Earth Heart (Wrath Tart, Dirt Fart, etc.), and coming up with new genres for our music (str33t r4wk, a11ey r4wk). We almost always stop at the Tedeschi’s again for cigarettes, then we go back to the house to get the cables or drumsticks we forgot. Our favorite tour pastime is asking people on the sidewalk how to get to Allston when we’re already in Allston and then driving away.

K”K”RC(C): I always make sure to smoke spliffs every day, and to warm up my voice I sing whatever lyrics come to mind like, “C’mon people now, smile on your brother, everybody gets together, time to love one another right now…”

Sometimes we go down to Bob’s Liquors on Cambridge street for the absurd, refreshing taste of Smirnoff Ice, but only on special occasions and I don’t drink any because I’m allergic.

As a front person and leader of the band, I tend to come up with jokes I want to tell when I’m on stage but then I never do. Also, I pray to baby Jesus and the Universe that my strings won’t break because I know I didn’t change them even though that’s so unprofessional and I’m sorry.

Keep up with the band on Facebook!
