First of all, touring through Europe or even the world is my biggest dream. If that would be as a supporting act of a famous artist or if I would be the main act doesn’t even make sense at this moment: visiting new, unknown places and playing songs to different people every night gives me butterflies. Performing on festivals, smokey pop venues, and breathtaking brocade theaters. I would be the happiest human being if that would ever happen.
I would love to open up for Lykke Li. Her performance is astonishing, she always looks stunning, the arrangements of the songs are brilliant and her band is fantastic. Now she has released her new single ‘Wings of Love’ with her new band Liv, I’m even more fan of her.
It also would be an amazing honor to be the supporting act of Daughter. They have been my biggest inspiration so far. Also, Lana Del Rey, Matt Corby, and Alt-J influenced me. Touring with Mumford and Sons would be tremendously fun. I’m addicted to Lola Marsh’ Sirens for a whole year now and I would love to play shows together with them all over the world. I also would love to play at the concert of Keaton Henson in royal theatre Carré in Amsterdam on November 1. My agent told me he probably would bring his own artist friends, so I just bought a ticket. I’m still having high hopes to become his supporting act, though.
Dry the River has the most wonderful and thoughtful lyrics and touring with Soko would be a mad but merry circus. I’ve been watching many interviews of her and somehow it feels like I am so similar to her. It would be very special to share the stage with a distinct personality like hers.
While writing this, I notice that there are too many artists and bands that I adore. It’s so hard to choose, I’ve been just summing them all up. ;) Last but not least: if I could go back in time, I would die to play along with Fleetwood Mac or Jefferson Airplane. White Rabbit, Everywhere, The Chain, Little Lies, Seven Wonders. Dancing the whole gig while singing all songs from Tango In The Night with wavy, long hair on an immense festival stage in front of a fiery crowd would have been the most tremendous and mythical experience ever!
