Uh-huh Baby Yeah! – 2nd ROAD BLOG from the Vans Warped Tour 2014

The awesome pop/rock band, Uh-huh Baby Yeah!, is currently on the Vans Warped Tour 2014. While they are out on the tour, they will be writing an exclusive blog for us. You can check out the first entry, after the break.

Dear Diary,

Sean from Uh Huh Baby Yeah here. Since our last entry, we have gotten tanner, eaten more overpriced grilled cheeses, and reached more loving and loyal friends and fans with our music and charm. Warped Tour is certainly a golden opportunity for us, and any band, to broaden our reach and interact with some of the greatest people on Earth.

Our days have consisted of waking up bright and early for tent placement, we then load in merch, gear, and run frantically to catering to snag coffee and bananas (nature’s most handheld breakfast). From here we peddle our wares in the line before the show, and then inside once the gates open. I usually scope cool butts for at least one hour before we play as a sort of pre-show ritual, along with chugging energy drinks and listening to Trinidad James. After we play, we give sweaty hugs until our shirts dry, then we just give regular hugs. Once the work day has ended, it’s on to the after party, where we wine and dine our fellow warped tour homies with PBR and veggie patties. From there, I usually sleep or have my thirteenth energy drink and drive to the next town.

This summer has definitely been crazy so far. Many personal and professional highs and lows, many hot days, some rainy days, and some days when all of your merch is covered in a film of dirt. But it is beautiful to be in the presence of thousands of caring friends, fans, peers, and crew. We would not trade this experience for the world. And this will live with me for the rest of my days.
