Uh-huh Baby Yeah! – 1st ROAD BLOG from the Vans Warped Tour 2014

The awesome pop/rock band, Uh-huh Baby Yeah!, is currently on the Vans Warped Tour 2014. While they are out on the tour, they will be writing an exclusive blog for us. You can check out the first entry, after the break.

Hello, World. Kevin here. Warped tour has been a blast! We’ve reached so many new people and played some really great shows. This tour truly is a huge stepping stone for a band like ours, but has also been one of the biggest trials of our entire career. Leaving home we had huge dreams for what we could accomplish out here. We didn’t take into consideration all the hardships and trials we’d be tested with along the way. Allow me to explain.

In Albequerque, NM we discovered our trailer was toast. The tongue was separating from the frame, and it was too costly to fix. We broke down and bought another trailer on Craigslist. 75 miles into the drive to Mesa, AZ our new trailer decided it didn’t like its wheels and tried to get rid of them. We showed up super late for the AZ date, but fixed the issue…or so we thought. After a few thousand miles, and a drive across the goddamn country, our trailer hated its wheels again. This time in Shitsville, Pennsylvania. Instead of caving in, we loaded our gear into our van, sat on top of it and made it to Holmdel, NJ just in time to play our set and load back up for a day off. Our day off was spent getting our trailer fixed yet again.

So now here we are. In Wantagh, NY. The trailer is fine (so far) and we’re still kicking ass. Here’s to no more trailer issues!
