Ted Poley (of Danger Danger) – TOUR TIPS

In this Tour Tips segment, the rock artist, Ted Poley, gives you his tips for being on tour. You can check out the feature, after the break.

1. Never kiss a girl on the lips if she is wearing a backstage pass and YOU didn’t give it to her.

2. Never eat anything that you don’t want to see again after the show. For example, red pepper strips, corn or mushrooms. For some reason, they seem to be indestructible and whether they take the fast track back out the way they came in (due to alcohol over-consumption), or the lazy route downstream till they reappear the next morning “au natural”. When I say “goodbye” I mean “goodbye”.

3. If you want to get any sleep at all on an airplane, always travel with noise cancelling headphones. Bose makes some nice ones. It seems that they always seat me within 3 feet of a crying baby. My own opinion, anyone under the age of 3 years old should have to be Fed-Ex’d.

4. Never get pissed off and yell at the soundman. That will be the last thing that your fans will hear.

5. I always disinfect my hands after meet and greets. Who knows where your hands have been?
