All Time Low’s “Back To The Future Hearts Tour” with Sleeping With Sirens – GALLERY/REVIEW

Recently, we had the opportunity to take some photos and review the Chicago date of All Time Low’s “Back To The Future Hearts Tour” with Sleeping With Sirens, Neck Deep and ONE OK ROCK. You can check out our review and photos, after the break.

All Time Low’s Back to the Future Hearts tour with Sleeping with Sirens, Neck Deep and One Ok Rock came to the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates this past week.

Opening the show was Japan natives, One Ok Rock. Having been on this tour, has gained them a lot of recognition in the U.S. so far and they are something to see live. All four of them are super energetic and are all over the stage their entire set. For having a short set time, they seemed to really give it their all. I hope they one day get to headline a U.S. tour and then we can really see how fun they can be. Having just re-released their album 35xxxv, Deluxe Edition via Itunes, if you haven’t already checked them out, you definitely should. Give a listen to “The Way Back”, “Last Dance”, and “Cry Out” to hear what they are all about.

After One Ok Rock, were UK natives, Neck Deep. They bursted onto the stage and wasted no time getting into their set list. Playing new songs off their latest album Life’s Not Out to Get You. such as “Gold Steps”, “Kali Mai”, “Serpents”, “Can’t Kick Up the Roots”, and of course playing old favorites such as “A Part of Me”, “What Did You Expect?” and more, they had the crowd jumping and singing along the whole time. At one point there were a few crowd surfers and a mini circle pit. Neck Deep is always a good time and I can’t wait for them to come back again.

Next up was Sleeping with Sirens. From the moment they took the stage until they left, everyone was jumping around and singing the lyrics back at them. There were a few times where the crowd’s singing was louder then Kellin’s voice. Making sure to play a mix from all their albums, the crowd got to enjoy new songs and old. Some that were performed were “Kick Me”, “Better Off Dead”, “Congratulations”, “We Like It Loud”, “Gold”, “Tally It Up, Settle the Score”, “If You Can’t Hang”, and an acoustic guitar was brought out for “With Ears to See, and Eyes to Hear”, “The Strays” and more were heard as well. The whole set the members were all smiles and you could see the emotion on not only the fans faces but the members as well.

Starting with a white sheet hanging at the front of the stage, you could see the members of All Time Low’s silhouettes as they started singing. As soon as the sheet dropped. they began their set and all you could hear was the fans’ screaming. Playing crowd favorites such as “Lost in Stereo”, “A Love Like War”, “Weightless”, “Therapy”, “Remembering Sunday”, “Damned if I do Ya, (Damned if I Don’t)”, “Do You Want Me (Dead)?”, “Dear Maria, Count Me In”, and new favorites such as “Kids in the Dark”, “Missing You”, “Something’s Gotta Give”, “Satellite”, “Kicking & Screaming” and many more! An All Time Low show is always a good time not only for the sing-alongs but for their banter as well, both with each other and with the crowd. There were less dick jokes this time around but not short of Jack gesturing jacking off motions or Alex and Jack’s playful verbal fights.  No show would be complete without a few bras thrown on stage as well which were seen hanging from the mics as they continued their set. With being a band for 12 years now, ATL, have cultivated a strong following of devoted fans. I don’t see them slowing down anytime and can’t wait to see what they do next.
